1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Curator ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The Service

Curator is an inventory and valuation tool for collectors, resellers, and enthusiasts. It lets you upload photos, receive item identification and estimated values, and keep a record of your collection.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old to use Curator.

4. Free Scans and Memberships

Non-members may receive a limited number of free identifications. We may adjust or enforce these limits, including by IP address, to prevent abuse.

Memberships are offered on a monthly or annual basis and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and your membership will remain active until the end of the paid period. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.

5. Valuations Are Estimates

Identifications, descriptions, provenance notes, and values are generated with automated analysis and are provided for informational purposes only. They are not a certified appraisal and do not guarantee the identity, authenticity, condition, or sale price of any item. Please verify important details with a qualified professional before buying, selling, or insuring an item.

6. Your Content

You keep ownership of the photos and information you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content as needed to operate the service, including sending it to analysis providers to produce results. You confirm you have the right to upload the content you submit.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to bypass usage limits, interfere with the platform, scrape or resell results at scale, upload unlawful or infringing content, or access accounts or data that are not yours.

8. Termination

You may stop using Curator and delete your account at any time from the app settings. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated or if needed to protect the service or other users.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Curator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from decisions made based on valuations or other results. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page, and continued use of Curator after changes means you accept the updated terms.
